Cinderella came to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on August 7, 2010. The band that Jon Bon Jovi discovered in the mid-1980s — and whose 1986 debut Night Songs sold 30 million copies worldwide without a hit single, a first in rock music history — delivered a set that reminded the Fort Lauderdale crowd exactly why they mattered.
Cinderella's catalog holds up because it was never purely glam metal. The bluesy feel that deepened on Long Cold Winter — which sold 25 million copies globally in less than half a year — gave the band a musical foundation that outlasted the genre. Tom Keifer's voice, ragged and powerful, was the center of the Revolution Live show, and the crowd responded to every note.
"Shake Me," "Nobody's Fool," "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)," and "Gypsy Road" were among the highlights. The Revolution Live crowd — a mix of longtime fans and younger listeners discovering the catalog — was fully engaged from the first song to the last.
