Lincoln Road's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is on November 21, from 6 to 9pm. Hot chocolate. Holiday crafts. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The tree lighting at 7pm. Live music to follow. It is the most consistent holiday event on Miami Beach, and it has been happening for long enough that most Miami Beach residents have a memory attached to it.
Lincoln Road is the pedestrian mall that runs east-west across Miami Beach — the outdoor promenade designed by Morris Lapidus in the 1960s that has been the social spine of the neighborhood ever since. The Christmas Tree Lighting is the moment when the mall transitions from fall programming to holiday season, and it draws the kind of crowd that the street was built for: families, locals, visitors, everyone moving at the same pace.
November is Lincoln Road's strongest month. The Antique & Collectible Market runs on November 15 and 29 — 30 years of vintage goods, clothing, jewelry, art, and midcentury furniture, one of the largest gatherings of eclectic treasure hunters in South Florida. The Lincoln Road Art Walk is November 19, the third Thursday of the month, aligned with the City of Miami Beach's Culture Crawl. And this month, Nigerian-born artist Oluwatobi Adewumi debuts The Stories We Carry — a public art installation that won Lincoln Road's 2026 RFP — just in time for Art Week.
The Open-Air Tango series also returns November 19 at the Euclid Oval — free lessons from professional instructors followed by three hours of social dancing under the stars. The monthly series runs through April 2027.
Lincoln Road is between 16th and 17th Streets, running from Alton Road to Washington Avenue, Miami Beach. The Christmas Tree Lighting is free and open to the public. November 21, 6 to 9pm, tree lighting at 7pm.
