Maple & Ash Miami Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Second Chances Cocktail

As October approaches, Maple & Ash Miami is joining the Breast Cancer Awareness Month conversation with Second Chances — a $20 seasonal cocktail built around Grey Goose Vodka, housemade fig vermouth, At Elizabeth spiced pear, lemon juice, and a housemade cranberry-apple tea syrup finished with a bar spoon of agave. The drink is shaken and double-strained into a Nick & Nora glass, arriving with a dried rose petal garnish. Two dollars from every Second Chances sold will go directly to the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, which supports breast cancer research and awareness.
The cranberry-apple tea syrup is made in-house: 30 grams of loose-leaf cran-apple tea steeped into a 1:1 hot simple syrup, producing a deep autumn profile that anchors the drink's color and its balance against the fig vermouth and citrus. The result reads as a seasonal cocktail first — the charitable component is built into the price rather than announced at the table.
The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, based in Chicago, funds breast cancer research with a focus on translational science — work that moves laboratory findings toward clinical application. Maple & Ash, the Chicago-born steakhouse concept from the 4 Star Restaurant Group, opened its Miami location in Brickell.
Second Chances is available throughout October at Maple & Ash Miami, located at 699 NE 1st Ave, 2nd Floor, in Downtown Miami at Miami Worldcenter.
