Nordstrom is pulling out all the stops for the 2026 holiday season, and South Florida shoppers are in for a treat. From FAO Schwarz at Aventura to same-day beauty delivery in Miami, here is everything you need to know.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
The holidays are coming in loud — and Nordstrom is turning up the volume. The iconic retailer has unveiled its 2026 holiday campaign, and for Miami shoppers, this season brings more reasons than ever to head to Aventura Mall or open the Nordstrom app.
At the center of it all are two beloved characters: Nordy, the classic Nordstrom mascot reimagined for a new era, and his brand-new sidekick Disco — a sparkly, globe-headed companion who is basically the spirit of the season in physical form. Together, they bring the holiday magic to life across the catalog, in-store events, and festive experiences throughout the season.
For South Florida families, the big news is FAO Schwarz. Nordstrom is partnering with the world's most famous toy store, and the Aventura location is one of the select Nordstrom stores receiving a dedicated FAO Schwarz jewel box shop. Think Jellycat, Lego, Barbie, Hot Wheels, and a curated selection of toys that will make any kid's holiday list look very achievable.
The season also carries a cultural moment: Nordstrom is celebrating David Bowie's 80th birthday year with an exclusive Bowie80 partnership. Immersive shops will appear at flagship locations in Chicago, New York, and Seattle, with limited-edition collections from AllSaints, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, and more — available starting in November. And Bowie's iconic "Let's Dance" anchors the holiday TV campaign, which is already giving us all the feels.
Miami shoppers also get same-day beauty delivery this season — one of just 15-plus markets nationwide selected for the service, launching this month. Whether you need a last-minute gift or a pre-event glow-up, Nordstrom has you covered without leaving the house.
The updated Nordstrom app is worth downloading if you have not already. A new In Store mode includes an interactive map, one-tap checkout for Nordstrom cardmembers, and faster four-hour in-store pickup. The AI-powered Request a Look feature lets you answer a few prompts and instantly receive personalized outfit recommendations — a genuinely useful tool for anyone who has ever stood in a store and blanked on what they actually needed.
On the giving-back front, Nordstrom continues its partnership with Shoes That Fit, the nonprofit that provides brand-new athletic shoes to children in need. Since 2010, the retailer and its customers have raised more than $10 million and provided over 500,000 pairs. This year's goal is $1.7 million, and you can contribute simply by picking up a holiday edition Nordy enamel pin — available in all stores starting November 1.
Santa returns to all Nordstrom stores this season, with free photos for Nordstrom cardmembers. Nordy Club members get access to a full calendar of holiday events including Holiday Breakfasts, Glam-Up Days, and Beauty Bashes. Find events near you at Nordstrom.com/festiveexperience.
The 2026 Nordstrom holiday catalog is out now, featuring more than a thousand curated gift picks across every category and budget. Whether you are shopping for the world traveler, the food connoisseur, the David Bowie fan, or the kid with the biggest imagination on your list — this is the season Nordstrom built for you.
