A Saturday morning workout. A trip to the farmers market. Brunch with friends. Lounging on a yacht with some bubbly. A little shopping. In South Florida, you can easily make a weekend plan out of any one of them. But why choose just one, when you could have them all?
On Saturday, Aug. 29, Fort Lauderdale favorite Shooters Waterfront debuted Social on the Intracoastal, a new monthly wellness and social event bringing those weekend rituals into one community-driven gathering on the waterfront. Held on the last Saturday of each month, the series is designed to give locals a place to spend the morning moving, shopping, eating, drinking and, most importantly, actually being social.
The inaugural Social on the Intracoastal included free waterfront mat Pilates from 8–9 a.m., led by SQLPT instructor Gabrielle Firrello on Shooters' Intracoastal patio.
A curated pop-up market ran from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., bringing together local fashion, art, food and lifestyle partners including The Voltage Bar, Bibi & Kim, Studio Andraca, Whiskers Matcha and Playa Bowls.
The Dockside Pause featured Pause Studio Fort Lauderdale recovery experiences, from complimentary hip and leg compression therapy and LED light therapy to discounted IV drips and buy one, get one 50% off vitamin shots like B-12.
The Floating Champagne Lounge invited guests aboard a private MarineMax yacht docked at Shooters for a complimentary glass of bubbly, alongside live music and brunch overlooking the Intracoastal. Locals can stop by for a workout, meet friends for brunch, browse the market or simply spend a few hours along the water.
