Spectrum Miami & Red Dot 2026: Where People Actually Buy Art
No six-figure price tags required. Spectrum Miami and Red Dot are the Art Week fairs where real collectors — and first-time buyers — find work they can actually take home.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami run simultaneously at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center during Art Week, December 2–7, 2026. They share a venue and a philosophy: art should be accessible, transactions should be transparent, and the experience should be enjoyable for everyone — not just the trade.
Two Fairs, One Building
Red Dot Miami focuses on established contemporary artists — work that's been vetted, collected, and recognized. It's the more polished of the two, with galleries presenting artists who have exhibition histories and market track records. Spectrum Miami runs alongside it with a broader, more eclectic mix — emerging artists, independent studios, and galleries taking risks on newer voices. Together they cover a wide range of price points, from a few hundred dollars to the mid-five figures.
The Wynwood Location
Being in Wynwood during Art Week is its own experience. The neighborhood's permanent gallery scene, murals, and restaurant strip are all activated during the week — the fairs become part of a larger circuit rather than a standalone destination. Walk the walls before or after. Eat at Kush. Stop into the galleries on NW 2nd Ave. The fair is a node in a neighborhood, not an island.
Good for First-Time Buyers
If you've ever wanted to buy original art but felt priced out of Art Basel week, this is where to start. The galleries here are approachable, the staff are there to sell (not gatekeep), and the range of work is genuinely broad. Bring a measuring tape if you have a wall in mind.
