A listening room and site of observation dedicated to artists and musicians whose commitments to collaborative practice rippled outward into the world. Listening stations feature music from landmark jazz collectives and solo avant-garde practitioners active primarily from the 1960s onward — the AACM, the Sun Ra Arkestra, the Black Artists' Group (BAG), Mongo Santamaria, and others — alongside their creative descendants in hip-hop and experimental music scenes including Miami. Visual works by Terry Adkins, Sam Gilliam, Masimba Hwati, Bertina Lopes, and Pauline Oliveros. On view through November 8, 2026.

Exhibition focusing on footwear history in the first half of the 20th century, when new breakthroughs in materials, technologies, and design reshaped form and function. Features rare shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo and Beth Levine alongside histories of merchandising, innovation, propaganda, and recreation.

One of the most comprehensive exhibitions of Louise Nevelson's work in the United States. Featuring more than fifty works, the exhibition traces Nevelson's artistic evolution from early figurative paintings to her iconic abstract wood constructions, collages, and handcrafted jewelry. Originally organized by the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine. The Frost's collection includes several Nevelson works — painted wood assemblages and collages — all featured in the exhibition. A carnival of terror at Jungle Island featuring four full fright zones including terrifying haunted houses, outdoor scare zones, a fear gift shop, the coffin bar, the macabre food village, and the spine-tingling Freak Cirque show. Runs Wednesdays through Sundays, September 10 – November 1.

The Horrorland transforms Jungle Island into an evening haunted attraction with haunted houses, scare zones, and performers turning the grounds into a Halloween setting. Event hours are 7 to 10 PM. General admission and Fast Pass options are available; on-site parking is charged separately.

Miami's only 5-acre corn maze returns at The Berry Farm in South Miami — a full fall experience with a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a sunflower field, live music, and family-friendly activities across 40 acres. Weekends through October. Tickets at the gate or online. The Berry Farm is at 12741 SW 216th St, Miami — plan for a 30-minute drive from Brickell. Cash and card accepted. Arrive early on weekends; the maze gets busy by midday.

The Berry Farm brings fall traditions to Miami's agricultural south with a five-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and sunflower fields. The festival runs seven days a week through November 15, with live entertainment on weekends. Tickets are booked by visit date; parking is included.

Fifth anniversary fine-art exhibit at History Fort Lauderdale featuring artists-in-residence Florencia Clement de Grandprey (Spain), Isabel Perez Salazar (Venezuela), Lifrancis Rojas (Venezuela), and sculptures by Norman Silva (Nicaragua). The campus includes the 1905 New River Inn, 1907 Pioneer House Museum, 1899 Ivy Cromartie Schoolhouse Museum, and the Hoch Research Library. Through October 25.

Coral Gables Museum, in collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami, presents a traditional Día de Muertos altar honoring Octavio Paz, one of Latin America's most influential literary figures and Nobel Prize in Literature recipient. Created by Mexican artists Karla Kantorovich and Monica Czukerberg, Una ofrenda a la palabra, la memoria y el tiempo reimagines the traditional altar as a space where poetry, art, and ancestral rituals come together. One of the community's most anticipated Halloween traditions. Dogs parade in imaginative and often elaborate costumes as part of the city's Trick-or-Treat on the Mile celebration. This free and family-friendly program transforms Downtown Coral Gables into a lively stage delighting families, children, and visitors. October 31, 2:00–4:00 PM.

All-day Halloween celebration at Miami Children's Museum featuring costume contest, Haunted House, and live DJ. The grand finale of the museum's month-long Halloween programming.
