Raise a Glass for a Cause: Habibi Miami and Sexy Fish Miami Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Two of Miami's most distinctive dining rooms are turning their cocktail menus into acts of solidarity this October — with every sip supporting Susan G. Komen.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and two of Miami's most compelling dining rooms are making the case that a great cocktail can also be a meaningful act. Habibi Miami and Sexy Fish Miami have each created or designated a signature pink pour — with a portion of every sale going directly to Susan G. Komen to fund breast cancer research and community programs.
The gesture is simple. The impact is real. And the drinks, it turns out, are exceptional.
Habibi Miami: The Dream of Pink
At Habibi Miami — the Wynwood-adjacent gem at 452 NW North River Drive — the Dream of Pink ($22) is the cocktail of the month. Built on Elyx Vodka with guava nectar, elderflower liqueur infused with rose petals, coconut cream, vanilla essence, and a finish of jasmine mist, it arrives in a coupe glass crowned with edible flowers and a delicate pink ribbon. It is the kind of drink that photographs beautifully and tastes even better.
For every Dream of Pink sold throughout October, Habibi Miami donates $5 to Susan G. Komen. Reservations at habibimia.com or 786-883-2800. Follow along at @habibimiami.
Sexy Fish Miami: Drappier Rosé for the Cause
At Sexy Fish Miami — the Brickell showstopper at 1001 South Miami Avenue — the vehicle is Drappier Rosé, a Champagne that already commands attention in the glass. Throughout October, $1 from every glass sold goes to Susan G. Komen. It is a quiet, elegant way to participate in something larger, entirely in keeping with the Sexy Fish ethos: beautiful things, purposefully done.
Reservations at sexyfishmiami.com or (305) 889-7888. Follow at @sexyfishmiami.
Two rooms. Two pours. One cause worth raising a glass to. Make your October reservations count.
