Premier Guide Miami covers the Adrienne Arsht Center's free and pay-what-you-can programming for 2026–27.

The Adrienne Arsht Center's Arsht Impact series is one of the most important — and least discussed — programs in Miami's cultural calendar. Four times a season, the Arsht opens its doors with pay-what-you-can tickets, making world-class performing arts accessible to every resident of Miami-Dade County regardless of income. This season's lineup is among the strongest the series has offered.

**Journey to Día de Muertos** on **Saturday, November 1** opens the series — a celebration of the Day of the Dead tradition through music, dance, and cultural programming. It is the kind of event that reminds you what a performing arts center is actually for: not just ticketed concerts for those who can afford them, but a gathering place for the whole city. The Arsht's [October programming](/article/arsht-center-october-2026-programming) and [November lineup](/article/arsht-center-november-2026-programming) both build toward this moment.

**Sounds of Christmas: A South Florida Gospel Celebration** follows on **Friday, December 12**. The gospel tradition runs deep in South Florida, and this performance — free to attend — is one of the season's most anticipated community events. It has become a holiday fixture for a reason. See the full [December programming at the Arsht](/article/arsht-center-december-2026-programming) for everything else happening that month.

**Heritage Fest** on **Friday, February 20** celebrates the cultural diversity that defines Miami-Dade — live performance, community programming, and the kind of cross-cultural exchange that the Arsht does better than almost any institution in the city. And the series closes on **Friday, May 22** with **Sounds and Spirit of Haiti**, a celebration of Haitian music and culture that honors one of Miami's most vital communities.

The Arsht Impact series sits alongside other free and accessible programming at the center this season — including [Live on the Plaza](/article/arsht-center-live-on-the-plaza-2026-27), nine free outdoor concerts running October through April, and [Live at Knight](/article/arsht-center-live-at-knight-2026-27), the center's intimate late-night series.

All four Arsht Impact performances offer pay-what-you-can tickets. Reservations are strongly recommended — these events fill quickly. Full details and ticketing at arshtcenter.org. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is located at **1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami**.

Live Miami covers the city's concerts, performances, and live events — the moments that define South Florida's cultural calendar.
