Bayfront Park is throwing a New Year’s Eve party, and it’s free to get in. Countdown Miami 2026 lands December 31 at Bayfront Park — doors at 5 p.m., midnight fireworks over Biscayne Bay, and a lineup that covers a lot of ground: Marshmello, Nicky Jam, Flo Rida, Gente de Zona, and Toño Rosario, hosted by DJ M-DOT. This is the first edition of what Bayfront Park Management Trust is positioning as a new annual signature event for the city.
The Lineup
Marshmello handles the electronic side. Nicky Jam and Gente de Zona bring the reggaeton and Latin energy. Flo Rida is exactly what you want at a free outdoor NYE show — crowd-tested hits, no surprises, all upside. Toño Rosario adds merengue to the mix. It’s a deliberately broad bill designed to pull the whole city to the waterfront, and it works on paper.
Tickets
General admission is free — RSVP online and walk in, no check-in required, first-come first-served. Two paid tiers exist for those who want more: the VIP Open Bar Ticket (21+) gets you all-night premium bar access, dedicated entrance, priority stage-front viewing, private restrooms, and exclusive food. The Family VIP Experience is a separate section designed for parents and kids who want premium viewing without the 21+ open bar crowd. Tickets and free RSVPs are at the Countdown Miami website.
The Setup
Bayfront Park is one of the better outdoor venues in the city for this kind of event — waterfront, central, easy to get to on foot or by transit from most of downtown and Brickell. Food and drink vendors will be spread throughout the park. The fireworks at midnight are choreographed to music. Festival runs 5 p.m. until late. Address: 301 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132.
If you’re planning to be in Miami for New Year’s Eve and want a free, outdoor, waterfront option with a real lineup, this is the one to know about.
The PGM Edit
Free admission. Midnight fireworks. No excuses to miss it.
