Miami travelers who made it to Manchester in 2025 already know what Treehouse Hotel is. The rooftop expansion means the rest of the world is about to find out.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester is climbing higher. Following a headline-making debut in March 2025, the groundbreaking hotel from the hospitality brand created by Barry Sternlicht — Founder and Chairman of Starwood Hotels, the Miami Beach-headquartered global hospitality giant behind W Hotels, St. Regis, and Westin — is unveiling a major expansion. New rooftop destinations, premium suites, padel courts, and a wood-fired outdoor sauna transform the property into a full urban resort. For Miami travelers who have long embraced Sternlicht's South Florida properties, Treehouse Manchester is now a must-add to the European itinerary.
Perched on the 14th and 15th floors, the new food and drink destinations include Sister Moon from Chef Sam Grainger in collaboration with legendary DJ duo Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford, buzzy cocktail bar The Nest, and The Hideout, a speakeasy-style rooftop lounge. Grainger's approach is shaped by years spent exploring Southeast Asia — Sister Moon combines British ingredients with Southeast Asian influences, smoky barbecue techniques, and dishes cooked over an open fire. Menu highlights include red prawn toast with red curry bisque, BBQ octopus with massaman curry, Singapore chilli crab, and an 80-day-aged beef ribeye with black garlic and pepper. Miami diners who frequent Wynwood and Brickell's Southeast Asian-inflected menus will feel right at home.
"From the beginning, I imagined Treehouse as a place that feels more like a home than a hotel," says Barry Sternlicht. "As Treehouse Manchester grows, I love seeing new corners come to life, where people can gather, lose track of time, discover something unexpected, and leave with stories they'll want to tell." Sternlicht's vision mirrors the ethos that has made his Miami Beach properties perennial favorites among South Florida's tastemakers.
This is Live Miami — where the city's style, ambition, and forward momentum converge. From the Design District to Brickell, from wellness culture to the residences redefining the skyline, this is how Miami lives.
The expansion introduces nine new premium suites across the 11th and 12th floors, including expansive Presidential Suites and flexible interconnecting accommodations ideal for families, groups, and extended stays. Designed as private retreats, the suites feature layered textiles, reclaimed woods, walk-in wardrobes, kitchenettes, dining areas, and sweeping views across Manchester's skyline — a level of residential luxury that Miami travelers accustomed to the city's top boutique hotels will immediately recognize.
Beyond the rooftop, guests can rally on The Pollen Club's two covered padel courts — a sport that has exploded in popularity across Miami's Brickell and Coconut Grove neighborhoods — with Friday evening Serve & Social events pairing padel, DJs, drinks, and food from Sister Moon. The wellness offering is completed by The Good Sauna Co.'s new outdoor space, bringing the Nordic tradition of hot-and-cold bathing to the heart of Manchester with a wood-fired Finnish sauna, cold plunge, and communal campfire area. Think of it as Miami's beloved cold plunge culture, reimagined under a Manchester sky.
Manchester is increasingly on the radar of Miami's international travel set — a city with a world-class music scene, Premier League football, and a dining culture that rivals London. Treehouse Hotel Manchester sits at the center of it all, and with this expansion, it cements its place as the city's most dynamic address. Miami travelers planning a UK or European swing should book early; the new suites and rooftop venues are already generating serious buzz.

The PGM Edit
The best hotels don't just give you a place to sleep. They give you a reason to stay in the city longer. Treehouse Manchester's new rooftop is making that argument very persuasively.
