Art Basel Miami Beach 2026: A Reconfigured Showfloor, 30+ New Galleries, and Three Public Days in December
Art Basel Miami Beach returns December 4–6 with its most focused gallery lineup in years — a substantially redesigned showfloor, deep Latin American representation, and Zero 10's largest digital art presentation to date.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 opens its public days Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6 at the Miami Beach Convention Center — and this year's edition arrives with a meaningfully reconfigured showfloor, a tightened gallery lineup shaped by direct exhibitor feedback, and the fair's most ambitious digital art program to date.
A Redesigned Showfloor
The 2026 edition debuts a substantially reconfigured showfloor shaped by feedback from exhibitors and the Selection Committee. The redesign opens sightlines across the show and distributes blue-chip exhibitors throughout the space — bringing programs of varying scale into closer dialogue rather than clustering prestige galleries in a single corridor. The result is a fair that rewards wandering.
Latin America, the Caribbean, and a Strong South Florida Presence
Latin America and the Caribbean are represented in depth this year, with Brazil forming the show's third-largest national contingent . Notable participation from Los Angeles and Chicago joins a strengthened South Florida presence — a deliberate acknowledgment of Miami's own art ecosystem and the galleries that have grown alongside the fair over two decades.
More Than 30 New Galleries
More than 30 galleries join the fair for the first time in 2026, the majority entering through the project-based sectors Nova , Positions , and Survey . These sectors have long served as the fair's proving ground for emerging voices and historically underrepresented perspectives — and this year's cohort continues that tradition.
Zero 10: Generation — The Largest Digital Art Presentation to Date
Zero 10 returns to Miami Beach with Generation , its largest presentation to date. The program brings together 19 projects by artists including Jon Rafman , Refik Anadol , and Sarah Meyohas , curated by Karen Archey with Eli Scheinman . The presentation expands participation by established galleries and welcomes Nicole Sales Giles , who joins Art Basel as Zero 10's first Global Head — a signal of how seriously the fair is investing in digital and new-media work.
